Our Meet The Candidates Night on April 30, 2001 was designed to better
acquaint the citizens of Bluefield, West Virginia with the candidates running
for Board of Directors. Candidates elected to the City of Bluefield's
Board Directors June 5th have their name shaded in green.
Note: Days before the swearing in of these newly elected board members,
Donald Kersey, Jr., had to resign citing a job change. Jim Bailey
(highlighted in red below) was the next highest vote getter and was sworn in
with the rest of the board on July 24, 2001
